Answered my questions about the difference between red/green fluids, organic acid inhibitors vs. silicate inhibitors, etc.<ul><li><a href="http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/sub_care_sat/1272436.html">antifreeze explanation</a></li></ul>

The bottom line (in my opinion), make sure it AT LEAST says "Safe for Aluminum Engines" somewhere on the bottle. The debate whether to go red vs. green, OEM vs. "similar product" is one that has many opinions here. However, I would not put anything (green or red) that isn't specifically labeled safe for aluminum in there at all. Hope this helps!

ensure that you use the green/blue Pentosin coolant. Or do a complete flush and the you can use the updated red Pentosin coolant.
