Default Where to Buy battery that fit???

My OEM battery went dead,so I bought a new one from Walmart EverStart, but the housing case is a little different than the OEM. So the stock battery holder tie down couldnt hold the battery securely.
Does anyone here know where I can get a battery that will fit right without paying the dealer?
Thanks

Default I bought one that fits fine from autozone.

Make sure you get one with the vent tube.

Default Mines from a place called Batteries Plus.

Costs $90, but it's a great battery and exactly the same size.

Default Any local auto parts store....NAPA, Auto Zone, Kragen, etc.

Have them look up the size you need. Just make sure you're buying a battery made by Exide. I personally think it's worth the extra $5-$10 to buy the 84 month battery. Don't forget the terminal protector pads!!

Default Just about anywhere that sells a Group 41 size, which is the ONLY one that fits...

I needed a new one a several months ago and went to Auto Zone which listed their Group 49 as the replacement. Unfortunately, the vent on their battery is located in the middle rather than the side as it should be (I didn't find this out until I got home). So the vent tube interfers with the hold down clamp. Since I needed the car due to a predicted snowfall the next morning and it was late, I was stuck with the incorrect battery. Although I managed to make it work in my case, make sure that you get the correct Group number.

Sounds like I have the group 49 as well. Work fine for me for the last 2 years or so.
