It started about a week ago coming from the engine bay. It almost sounds like the belt was rubbing against something but I looked very close and elso put some soap on the belt to see if it would stop but it didnt. It seems to be loader on the passager side of the engine bay almost around the timeing belt cover / alternator area could it be a bearing or someing??

If the noise is gone, then it is one or movre of the components in that belt driveline - belt, alternator, A/C clutch, and/or power steering unit. If the noise is still there, then it in the timing belt driveline.

a whining or even like a "faint supercharger" right before they sheered off. So I'd check all of them along the serpentine belt if you haven't already.
