Will UrS avant springs lower a C4q 12v avant?

I did it on my '96. The rear dropped almost an inch, but the front stayed the same. I think the spring seats on the front of S cars might be a little lower on the strut. I cut a full coil off of the front springs to give it the right stance. (I know it was the wrong way to go about it but whatever) It's definitely a firmer ride though.
