Default Worn Driver's Seat Replacement

Hi,

The padding in my 96 A6 Quattro driver's seat is worn down to the point that my long commute gets uncomfortable. Anyone have any ideas on replacing just the padding (the leather is fine), or is it easier/cheaper to replace the whole seat and what might I expect to pay (finding a used seat is an option as well). Also, the seats are heated and powered. Thanks for any suggestions!

Best regards,
Travis

Default You can order replacement foam and do it yourself,

peeling the seat skin is pretty straightforward.

Also, any decent auto upholstery shop will be able cut new foam to fit, or they may have a good idea about how to repair short of replacement.
