Default 1985 4000q Cannonball Edition?

Can anybody tell me more about these? What was different about them? I know there were only like 15 of them imported/made, but what was different? #7 is for sale now...

Default Well...

They had 15" Gotti wheels, a leather Recaro interior with the Cannonball logo embroidered on the front seats, a Momo wheel and shift ****, and Brock Yates' signature and the cannonball logo on the trunk lid. The mechanicals were identical to a standard 4kq. They were imported as regular 4kq's and converted by a Porsche/Audi dealership in Florida. As far as numbers converted, I've heard 15 and 50, but haven't been able to nail down an actual number.

Default More information

I just talked to a guy selling one in MI and he told me some new stuff that I did not know. It may be the same car that "duandcc" is talking about. But before that What do you guys think these are worth???
Ok, What I know about the Cannnonballs is this:
Leather Recaros
15X6 Gotti wheels with body matched center sections
Gotti Steering wheel (not a MOMO)
Brock Yates sig and number of car on trunk lid
Eibach springs
And what evilclown said about the dealer is also true I have paperwork from that dealer.

I think that there where to versions of this car. A "Brock Yates" and a "Cannonball", now I think there where limited number of Cannonballs but a lot more Brock Yates cars made. I think that the Cannonballs where first and then they where popular so they made more but just called them Brock Yates, just a theory. Hope I helped

Default What color is the one in Michigan? It might be my old one.

I sold mine for $800(blown motor) to a guy who sold it to Force 5. I always thought it was a Momo wheel, never looked really closely. The disparity between production numbers I was given makes sense now, I always figured Cannonball and Brock Yates editions were the same thing.

This guy bought the car I think from the dealership and has had it a long time, he has 10 cars and does not have time for the Audi right now.

Ken you are correct about the Brock Yates Cannonball cars. Only twelve were made. I have number 11. Looking for a set of Gotti's. Do you know who might have a set?
