1987 CGT rough idle, sometimes does not start
MY 1987 Coupe GT, idles rough for about 10 seconds , what can that be?
After the 10 seconds is runs perfect and strong, although sometimes I hear the lifters and sometimes I do not.
Sometimes hot or cold the engine does not start, even if i just drove it, i leave it for 15 minutes and then it starts and the belt is most of the time sqeeking than. (the fuel pump works)
Any ideas???

coil breaking down(weak spark)? thermo-time switch?
not too sure about the lifters, but is your fuel pump working properly?,
are your fuel-filters are newer?
Have you cleaned your injectors?
did you check the coil(breaking down)
and the rest of ignition system?
just throwing some ideas out
