Default 2.5 Vanagon........

so I've been chasing after a turbo motor for a while now. I just ran across a 2.5. The guy who has it, tells me it should pretty much bolt right up. What do you think? I need to look up specs on these things.

Default Vangon or Eurovan?

If you found a 5 cylinder Vanagon in this country DO NOT use it as a donor for a 4K. If it's just a Eurovan, yank the engine and set the shell on fire afterwards.

Default could be........

it's a VW van. The van is gone, all that is left is the engine. I haven't seen it yet, just heard about it.

Aren't all the Vanagons rear engine with boxer style motors? One of my customers specializes in swapping Subaru motors into Vanagons. He would probably be able to tell you what model that engine came out of and if it's worth using for a swap. BTW, he said that he could put a Subaru motor in my quattro too. I asked him about a WRX swap and he said it would be $10,000. ACK!

Small Car Performance

Default It was most likely a Eurovan

Seeing as how the 5 cylinder Vangons were sold in South Africa, not here.

I'm pretty sure that's where DDG came up with his origional 2.6 specs so many months ago
