i thought longblock meant..
..that it comes with almost all the accessories and wires, etc.. where as a shortblock is just the bare minimum? no?

shortblock= block+rotating assembly, longblock=head and block assembeld together...
rotating assembly=crank, rods and pistons, shortblock is really just a complete botoom end assembled with gaskets etc.
