Default 4k black cloud during start up this morning.

I started the car it ideled at 100rpm all but shutting off when I got on the gas it would shoot out black smoke. Smelled badly like gas. I am fairly certian the coolant temp sensor is shot and possibly the 02 sensor as well. Its running rich I plan to fix that this weekend so hopefully that fixes my problem.

What controles the gas, is it fuel injected or does it have a choke? Its possible that its sticking if so what? On hot days sometimes it idle's around 1800rpms and it always idle's around 500-600rpm on mildly cold days and on days that are around 60-80 degrees it idle's around 700-800rpms.

Default Fuel injection

Id replace that coolant temp sender, and possibly O2, as Ray said. I bet the coolant temp sender is more of your problem than O2 though.
The car is fuel injected (CIS) and is quite reliable. Maybe the idle is set low?

Default 1000% sure it's the Coolant Temp Sensor

Didn't we already go through this? Make sure you get the sensor that goes on the bottom. This is the one that works with the ECU and messes with your mixture. I couldn't find it online. I ahad to buy it from a local Euro shop. It's a pretty easy swap.
you'll have to drop a pan under the car to catch the coolant, but after that, it's cake. Like I said. My car had all the same symptoms, smoke, bad startup, terrible gas mileage, stumbled badly right before it really went out. I've been watching my gas gauge this week, and I think my mileage almost doubled! The thing just purrs now.

Default I paid 55.00 at a local euro shop (Seattle)

I couldn't find that exact sensor online. The stealership wants 300.00!!!!! If you can't find one, hit me up and I'll get one for ya. That's just plain robbery.
