4kq Vacuum Hoses: Where do they go?

I've got an 86 4kq project car that I rebuilt the head on. Now I'm putting things together and can't figure out where a couple of the vacumm hoses go. The Bently manual and underhood vacuum diagrams don't seem to be any help.
Specifically, I need to know what connects to the airbox top (large nipple facing towards the firewall).
I also can't figure out one of the connetions to the 'T' on the valve cover breather. I've got one to intake manifold, one to the valve cover, and one to the crank case. Where does the last one run to?

Wouldn't this create a vacuum leak? The air from the airbox top is unmetered, and there is a connection from the 'T' to the intake manifold! Granted, the diagram shows a 'restrictor' between the 'T' and manifold.

http://www.humanspeakers.com/audi/vacuum-system-E.htm</a
