Default 87 4k cs q fuel pump issue

Long story short I have no voltage at the pump key on or cranking. Replaced relay and fuse under hood is good. I have not tested continuity of the wires, but other wise is there any other common issues ? I plan to bring my jumper switch home tomo incase it’s a bad key switch.

Default Check the fuse box soldering

I had the problem with cracked soldering on my fuse box. I ended up replacing the whole box, but as this thread below suggests, you can probably fix it.

Yeah, you'll just have to see where in the circuit you stop getting power. Also keep in mind that the Hall sensor inside the distributor (under the rotor) is part of the circuit. If that goes bad then it won't allow power to go to the fuel pump. Those definitely go out once in awhile.

boat mechanic here, if that sensor was bad wouldn’t it also kill spark ? I hooked an external 12 v to it yesterday and the fuel pump ran. I have voltage coming both in and out from relay so I’m starting to think it’s a grounding issue.
