Default AC Problem UPDATED...

Well, I got the r134 to go into the line with just a little jiggling of the nozzle...

...then I got to hear it all come out somewhere at the condensor.

although while I still had a charged system I started it up and unfortunately the compressor never kicked on :-(

Hey Bill,

If it turns out you need a condensor, you know who to call. I pulled the one off the parts car yesterday, and I know it doesn't have any leaks, because there was a strong charge still in the system.

Hope all the other parts worked out okay, and I hope the driver's door handle (the correct drivers side) works out okay.

Cheers,

Ted

Yea man, the handle went on without a hitch this time.

I'm sure its the condensor, I heard the hiss right behind the grill. It went so fast I couldn't really isolate it.

I'll e-mail you about the next order of parts I need.

Thanks again.

Default Mine doesn't start up either

I'm talking about the compressor. When I hit the AC switch, I can hear some flaps or something move and the engine picks up in RPM's. The compressor never comes on. I'm getting it recharged next Sat. Hopefully that will be enough to get the compressor to kick on so I can see if the compressor even works.

Good luck with yours.
