with the flares and nice BBS's, one of the classic designs. With the 2.5 I-6, too, it would leave most Audis in its wake....of that period.

They had some severely evil drive train designs, though. For example, one of the front half shafts, after leaving the transfer case, travels *through* the oil pan to get to the other wheel. Also if I recall correctly, oil changes on these are extemely difficult, as it's near to impossible to put a new filter on without putting a dent in one part of it.
