Air/Fuel mixture
Does anyone know where to get the wire harness to use to plugin to the end of the fuel distribution block to test the amount of air/fuel going in? I know that you have to use a multimeter and the reading should be around 1.something. Then you have to adjust the 4mm hex screw to adjust the mixture. Right now I dont even get 200mi to a tank of gas. My car is setup for the altitude and I need to adjust it to sea level. Can anyone help?

Here's a few links...
www.zelenda.com and www.zdmak.com are two places that sell specialty VAG tools and cables for CIS system measurements. I wouldn't be surprised if the cable is more costly than doing it by feel or paying a shop, but I've attached a good reference link on the DIY.

http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/ficis.html</a

you can just attach a multimeter to the oxygen sensor when the car is running....
essentially doing the same thing as a air fuel gauge. Don't know what normal would be but someone else might.
