Anybody know where to source a windshield gasket and locking strip for a 4k?

I called Clair Parts and they say they have been discontinued. Another friend of mine who has ties to autoglass companies says he can get one but it'll cost me $175 just for the seal. I think that's quite a bit steep. I don't think they can get a locking strip at all.

I mean what would happen if you windshield broke damaging both parts? Check out safelite or some place like that.

I have 2 friends in or related to the biz. One is a former Triumph autoglass salesman and the other used to work for Harman and now works for an independent. They both thought it would be no problem until they checked. I also contacted the dealer who said its discontinued.
I feel like there's got to be a source but I don't think its the glass places for some reason.

I think I will have to get my fingers stronger to work the rubber back. If only it didn't keep popping back out.
