Default Anyone ever remove their air fan/blower from the front?

The bentley says to remove it from under the dash, however I've heard that it's possible and easier from the front.

I'd appreciate any advice you may have...

Default It's easy (sorta), just remove from front.

Remove black plastic rain try, then remove the large white plastic air box.
You'll see it sitting right there.

Default It's hard, but I've done it.

Do you have A/C still? Mine was gone so I had more room to work next to the heater hose outlets inside the car (under glove box).

Also remove the battery to give you a bit more room.

HTH
Feel free to ask any more questions.

Default Removing battery vs battery tray

Removing battery is easy - I've wanted to remove the entire battery tray to get at wiring and yes the hoses under the battery tray. Is that easy?

Nope, tray is welded in. Just take out the battery & maybe the large black intake elbow.

Default Yeah, it takes some turning.

Once you get it loose, it takes some turning under there, but it comes out with relative ease.
