Default Anyone had problems with fuel rail clearance on 10vt engines?

I bought the 034 42lb injectors, 034 fuel rail, and 034 fuel rail hold down kit, and 034 Injector bungs. So, everything should fit, but the fuel rail is hitting the throttle body and also wont allow the throttle to close all of the way.
Has anyone dealt with this? The injectors are all the way down and bungs are screwed in all the way.
Just looking for some possible solutions or suggestions..
Thanks in advance

Default Ive heard of it, which rail did you get?

034 JUST came out with a newer rail not too long ago, I thought. Steve Ankney in the 5000 forum ended up using a KH throttle body, I think, I could be wrong. The clearance was definately an issue though.

Default Its the "Improved 10v fuel rail kit"

Default Yes, that is the kit

Steve Ankney did some interesting things around the throttle area for his EFI stuff. He did something with a Grand Am bracket or something and I *think* used a KH throttle body, since its round. You may be able to find his project thread on Motorgeek. His username is Steve Ankney. I wasnt much help, but perhaps Steve will be, he did a nice and clean installation.

Default Re: yup kh throttle body will help...

Adam Mowafy and a few other guys on MG had to modify their stock tear drop throttle bodies to get some clearance for the rail...<ul><li><a href="http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/v/Adam_Mowafy/PICT0204.JPG.html">adam's modified throttle body</a></li></ul>

Default Which throttle body are you using?

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/4612/ebay_011.jpg"></center><p>
MC auto, MC 5 speed or KH?

I assume 5 speed MC?

What part of the throttle linkage is hitting? The bottom of the ball for the cable or the actual "wedge" part of the linkage?

I'm not a huge fan of the old rail design. I had ****laods of problems with it. I'm glad they have a new one.

Get back to me and I'll see if I can help.

As you can see in the pic I used a KH with a custom bracket, supplemental spring, MC throttle cable and a NG throttle wedge, etc.
