Default Audi 4000 5+5

I have a 1981 4000 5+5. I really need help finding parts. This is only the second one of these I have ever seen, so I've made this into a restoration/ performance project. Any help finding used body parts and performance stuff would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
P.S. Let me know if you live in or near PA, would like to find near by Audi enthusiasts

Default im in n jersey

as for parts, ill be the first to recommend Force 5 Auto in concord NH. email chris, chris@force5auto.com and hell help you with just about everything you need. otherwise try www.performancemotorcars.com, www.megaparts.com, www.audiquattroparts.com, im sure ppl will list others. btw, get us some pics of that 5+5 i dont think we have one on here yet. and i dont know how close you are to jersey but im not adverse to travelling a little to meet fellow audi folks.

Default No kiddin'?

I'm in Elizabethtown.
Once they open for the year, I'd suggest the U-Pull-It yard in New Ringgold (near Reading). They get a lot of stuff that vintage, and it's fun just wandering through the place.
Autohaus sucks...but if you must buy something there, get either Seppo or Tracy to help you.
5+5's are way cool, good luck with your project.

Default If you ever decide to sell....

I'd gladly buy it, or trade you my 1987.5 CGT. I had a 5+5 as my first car (Helois Metalic Blue, no options except A/C). I'd give my left nut to science to find one in good/excellent condition...

Default You didn't hop on that one I posted here?

It was fairly nice, IIRC.

Default I'm in central NJ, happy owner of an 81 4k 4+E

Parts are rather difficult to find. And as for performance parts, almost forget about it, i was on backorder for H&R Springs from Germany for nearly 8 months before i got them. But i suppose persistence pays off. Good luck with your Audi, perhaps we can meet up sometime, i'll be in Allentown on the 20th of March. Should me a holla down.
