As a few may allready know, my 87 4000S is running the Kx i5 with the three speed auto transmission. Recently ive noticed when kickdown is engaged, the transition between 2nd to 3rd gear has a massive delay. Throttle will rise and then it will eventually change to third after a second or two.

It will change gears, but it sure takes a while, and it definately concearnes me.

Do you think its fixible, or is the transmission on its way out?
