just to update, i got the dang thing off the control arm, but its so rusted, i cant get it off the tierod. i am getting a new tierod end to replace it with. i figger that should do the trick. lets hope and pray. right now, the car is up on jack/jack stands cause i am no longer able to put it back together

i got the ball joint off and now i need to remove the tie rod. there is not much space to work with and i am having difficulty backing out the bolt that holds the tie rod end in place. any suggestions would be appreciated. i am able to wiggle the bolt wich means it is not rusted in place.

i was succesful with the replacement tie rod end from the junk yard. that **** was a bee-otch to get off and getting the new one on was not easy either but, i was succesful. that is all that matters
