Default Thanks.

I saw your post but had it filed away mentally for later use. Want to get my car back on the road ASAP and didn't have time to be worrying about conversions and ordering internationally. Will check it out and I may go that route when I replace all the lines at one shot someday soon. I may go stainless, plastic or...apparently there's a nickel copper alloy line that's cheaper than stainless and rated at 3000psi. I may go that route..and it's available locally.

I already had the 80 lines...had them on hand for this eventuality.

Default Kunifer lines....

are 90/10 copper/nickle alloy. Apparently its safe for fuel use. It is also easier to bend. The stock fuel rails under the car are 8mm, I could only find it in 5/16" size (about 7.9375mm) I'm wondering if a bubble flare with the correct flare nuts on the ends will work ok on 5/16" line, or will it leak all over because its slightly smaller.

Default Works fine.

Have done it many..many times with steel lines. As long as the bubble flare size matches the fitting, you're fine. May be a different story if 5/16 was appreciably larger than 8mm.

When you think about it as well, manufacturing tolerances probably aren't exact enough to ensure a consistant 7.9mm. A 20 foot roll probably ranges from 7.8 to 8.1mm anyway. I have one out in the garage...maybe I'll stick the calipers on a few points later to see what the variation is.
