Brake dust

Brake dust
One of the more annoying things I have noticed about my 4000Q (I've noticed this on other Audis also) is the incredible accumulation of brake dust on the alloy wheels. I'll diligently wash them with wheel cleaner and a toothbrush; only to have it look like crap a week later. Can annoying tell me what it is about Audi brakes (in particular) that cause this, and is there anything I can do to slow down the accumulation process?

Re: Brake dust
i have semi metallic pads and they dont accumulate as much dust as whatever was on there before. it is on all audis though, my grandfather has a 02 A8L and the front rims are covered in it already. are you in jersey? most of the ppl on here arent near here...

Where can I find Mintex Redbox pads? ...
And roughly what do they cost?
In addition, I'm not from the state of New Jersey the user name happens to be a Donovan song I always liked - come on, you remember him...
