Default Brake squeekage?

Hi everyone,
I replaced brake pads and rotors a couple of weeks ago. They work wonderfully, and stopping is powerful and smooth. However, if the brakes are warm (car has been driven for a mile or so), then they sqeek really loud when I turn the steering wheel for a tight turn, regardless of wheather or not I'm on the brakes. No grinding, just a loud brake squeek. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Default brake squeak?

what makes me wonder is your comment that it happens on turns only even when the there is no pressure. Generally the squeaks are caused by the pads (which normally float on the rotor) vibrating between the rotor piston and disk when pressed. brake pad grease (to the back side and retaining pins and /or shims are usually recommended. Does the noise change pitch when cornering if you lightly press the pedal? If not it may be something else...

Default Mine did the same thing....

It was damn annoying. lousy noise lasted from Sept thru dec. and finally went away. Someone posted here in this forum that the type of brakes I had were the culprits [ATE Brakes and rotors].

Check and see if there is any indication of wear or signs of rubbage on the dust shields. Sometimes during brake R&R's, the shields can get bent a bit and rub on the rotors in turns. Good luck.
