Default Very soon, I hope

I keep saying Im gonna get one made, but I never do. Maybe in the next week or two I'll toss a friend in the car and have him tape some fun runs in the car. Id like to get a little compilation video made, but we'll see.

Default Just by watching that little video - I know what I want for Christmas: 20V Turbo engine ;-)

but the car would have to be dropped very low to achieve lowest center of gravity.....just to get the power to the road.....that's one challenge with FWD...but it's fun !!

Default What kind of link kit is that on your front sway bar?

I have been looking to replace/upgrade mine and that looks like it would do.

Default yeah, a slow-spooling turbo and peaky powerband is a good thing with FWD...definitely need to

roll/flare the fenders and run tires 225mm or wider. LSD would help out a lot as well of course...too bad we only have expensive aftermarket units to choose from...

Default I'm still running CGT injection, so technically it isn't legal...and it's my daily again so

I need better fuel economy until I get one of my other projects driveable or buy another daily. I've got misc leaks from the oil cooler assembly, broken exh manifold studs, and really want to install ARP head studs, a better exhaust manifold & turbo, and EFI before going turbo again anyways. I'm also contemplating switching to a car that can handle the torque of the turbo engine better, like a type89 CQ, and just throw an NF into the CGT. Right now though the Merkur racecar build has higher priority, and I still have to get the 'ol bimmer roadworthy...so there's plenty I've got to clear up before the CGT sees anything more than aesthetic improvements. *sigh*
BTW thumbs up on keeping your CGT and also that instrument cluster swap!
