can i put an '03 A4 steering wheel on my 4k?
good lookin 3 spoke wheel and i get an insurance deduction if i can rig up the airbag. or even if i can make it look like itll work.

A guy is putting one on his 90, but I'm not sure if it'll work in the 4k.
Even if it did, I really wouldn't recommend messing with the airbag. They're pretty sensitive, I wouldn't want to risk setting it off in my face while trying to wire it up.

I wouldn't do it...
That thing is armed with explosives man. You don't want to put something on your car that wasn't meant to be there. You're not gonna be able to fabricate sensors in the car for the SRS. It also utilizes a computer control unit to regulate firing of the bag.
If you could remove the airbag module somehow and still wire it for the horn I suppose it would work ok, provided it fit.

Yeah...but how would that wheel look against the rest of the interior?
Seems to me it would be pretty out of place. Go with a Momo or somesuch, maybe an S2/RS2 wheel if you want to shell out the $$$.
