...but up close, <grimaces>, it's pretty dodgy. Ah hell, what did I expect from a 1 1/2-inch brush anyway!! It's not silver or blue, so I'm happy.
I was thinking about spraying it actually. I just don't have the time this summer. The prep time would have been longer than I have right now. All the time spent sanding, taping, priming, rubbing, sanding, cursing, swearing and finally painting will be better spent drinking beer. And, as for the shop, it was far too nice today to be spent holed up in a garage all afternoon. The tunes on the radio were choice, sun was shining and the wind was cool. And besides, I wanted to get the color change done before I get it licenced, which I'll hopefully do tomorrow. That way it won't cost anything at the DMV to go from grey to black.
BTW, were you able to score any of those cheap filters at bowwow?

Once they run low, I'll be seeing if Bowwow can beat them.

ask for Kris

flat black with a little rain dust on it is almost invisible at night. or on rainy cloudy days when contrasted with pavement. it also looks better than say blue with half the clearcoat gone, and looks ok out of a rattlecan.
