Default CGTBrad - I might have a source that will do the H1/H4 harness

How much of a rush are you in?

I sent you an email.

If anyone else is interested in the harness, post up.

Default No idea yet, I need to send him a diagram of what we need.

So if someone want to post a diagram w/ where the wires need to go & w/ what relays & plugs needed.

It's a mechanic that builds wiring harness's for the classic mini, so he's had many years of electrical harness making. I don't have any H1/H4's and my H4's are 1000+ miles away. I can show him my car to get the distance between the headlights & our stock headlight plugs though.

The more info we can supply him to make the build easier, the better. If he's left guessing & test fitting, then price goes up. But if we can say we need for example
- 4 relay sysytem
- 14" between L & R headlights
- 8 gauge wiring
- etc.....

If we supply pics of what we would like it to look like

Default I'll make up a diagram and get it to you sometime tomorrow!

I'm thinking that the group buy will probably be off due to a slight lack of interest and I want to see about getting the thing a little quicker. -B

Default Ok, I won't be able to forward the info till Monday so no rush.

If you could included as much detailed info as possible and an approximate parts list to help speed up the search for parts.

Did you get my email? I can't check it till monday but just wondering if you got it.

Default Check out the harness on IPD's web site.

Yeah I know its a Volvo site (ipdusa.com), but they have a harness for under $80 for doing the 4 headlight set up on the old Volvo 740s. I was thinking of getting it when I get around to dropping in new lights on my 84 4kq. Another site is danielsternlighting.com to check for a prefab harness. He sells euro conversions and has relay set ups.

http://www.ipdusa.com</a
