Default welll....

they can issue it but you can beat it easily in court....and what the hell were you doing speeding by a construction site?
man have some respect for those guys as they fix up the roads, and slow down a bit so you don't scare the bejebers out of them.

My Family does a lot of traffic work and people fly by honking horns and generally pissed off because we slowed down their timm hortons run(coffee)....I've been yelled at and torn a strip off more times then I can count...but it doesn't bother me any more...lol
I just make sure I make them wait longer then!!!

Default Weird traffic laws...

In my younger days, i was driving along from golden, BC to revelstoke and i passed a woman in a minivan going under the speed limit. Bear in mind this was in an 1988 3/4 ton ford club wagon van with a 6 cylinder and super high gearing, it would max out at 110kms/hr at redline so i couldn't have been more than 10-15kms/hr faster than she was. She apparently called the RCMP on her cell phone and I ended up with an officer following me for 10minutes as i approached revelstoke, during which time i drove extremely deffensively. Well, he ended up giving me a ticket in revelstoke for speeding, apparently on the word of the woman who called in on her cell phone. I since i did't have the time to go back to fight the ticket, i just paid it. today i'd fight it on principle as the "officer" never saw anything other than perfect driving.

Default People yell at YOU?

I don't get why someone would be mad at YOU for the slowdowns. You're just doing your job and it's for safety reasons. Some people are just so selfish!
