Stop driving the car NOW if you haven't already. And don't let any of the brake fluid touch the body of your car cuz it'll eat away the paint.

Hope that helps,

Wilson.

Default Not too expensive to fix...

you can go new via Blau or other parts places for $100 or so or get rebuilt. Check out Autohausaz.com - they are about as rock bottom price as I've seen. You'll also want to consider replacing the hose and check the pads for contamination. Also get a power bleeder to do a flush and get the air out. I got a $20 unit at www.ipdusa.com that uses air from a tire or you can get the hand pump kind for $40. Use plenty of Brake Kleen too...

https://www.autohausaz.com/index.html</a

Default you still have pressure?

well if you do, it wont be for long... clean up down there and look around before you buy something you don't need to replace. or you could buy a seal/gasket kit for the caliper and rebuild it if that's the case..

and if one caliper is shot, i'd check/fix the other one/others.

good luck

Default Brake calipers are very easy to rebuild

If you have access to a compressor, it's very simple to rebuild a brake caliper. Takes about 1 hout for a pair.

Caliper rebuild parts run about $20 per caliper. I use http://www.avolkswagenpart.com
They have the caliper repair kit for $13+shipping.
OR
You can just buy a new caliper from them for around $75+shipping.

I'm not affiliated with the company at all, it's just got some of the best prices for parts of any other place I've seen.

I could throw together a writeup on how to do it if you're interested in trying to rebuild it yourself. You will need an air compressor though and an air blower attachment. Takes about 50 PSI to get the piston out of the caliper housing.

Regards,
