the engine bay. Mines disconnected, cut and sealed off. Anybody know if the connection on the gas tank is easy or hard to get to? I don't have to drop my gas tank to get to it do I?

btw, its an 83 CGT

Default Not sure of the routing but..

if you mean the one that goes from the charcoal camister or intake boot back, I THINK that's routed through the cabin and would connect at the top of the tank. Wouldn't need to drop the tank, would be able to access the top from the trunk.

Default I still need to crawl around my 84 to see if they send it through the cab...

but heres a snap shot from vagcat that shows just whats all around the fuel tank. I am guessing it would be the breather hose but again without getting under there I dunno.

*Note: I am guessing it'll either be line 19, or line 11 in the image that will need to be replaced. Both seem to be accessible without dropping the tank.

Looks like the line runs under the car with the fuel lines...

Just got back in town a few minutes ago. Thanks to all who responded. I'll check it out ASAP and get back to those interested.
