Default I was in Dublin, Ohio in 1986 and they had one exacly like that on the showroom floor...

we were buyin a 1984 5000 turbo, I loved that car. But the SportQ was amazing (at that time) kevlar body, the brakes where huge! and the asking price at that time was $135,000. If I get rich someday and find a black one of these in nice condition - I will be all over it!

Default I didn't know they had kevlar bodies?

I am starting a savings account right now, so I can afford one in a few years. Hell, thats what loans are for right. Maybe if I mortage the house I could get it.

WOOO HOOOO!! Now THAT is a quattro!! I LOVE those damn things!! Too bad we can't get a hold of one of those engines. Now THAT would be fun! Did you know that Audi only made those cars so they could compete in the Pike's Peak Hillclimb and other Rally events? For the car to be able to be competitive, Audi had to make a certain number of that car so they could race it, sorta like the E30 BMW M3 Evolution I and II. Car's got like 310hp if I am not mistaken, and is ungodly quick off the line! It smoked the Lancer Evo VI off the line in a drag race on the BBC TV program called Top Gear. The Mitsu had it on the long run, but off the line the Audi had it by over a car length. Damn fun to watch ol' Tiff Needel drive the "old school Audi" and rave about its handling!!
