Differential mount #2 is toast, I win
This time, I took the car to my friends house, I swear, Im there everyday working on something, either his or our friends DSM's or my Audi.
With an impact I had NO broken bolts, and it was way easier, and less stress on my muscular arms.
Only thing I forgot to do was support the differential with the jack, and almost got slapped in the face by part of it, oops.
The drivers mount fell out in 2 pieces, the inner piece and of course, the outer. No wonder my shifts were so sloppy and I was getting a horrendous backlash from back there.
All fixed, easy job!
Oh, I did look at the rearmost mount, and it looks as if there are bolts that hold a large bracket of sorts on, that houses the mount itself, I assume this is how to remove the mount, by removing that arm/bracket? Someobdy said the differential had to be removed, that seemed silly just for a mount, can anybody confrim this?

That would be a good idea
But, Ive been working out again, eating more healthy, I may have 22inch biceps by the summertime!
Any thoughts about that rear diff mount? It looks like I can just remove that rear "arm" that houses the mount itself, its held on by allens.
