Default exhaust

so I know I have a small exhaust leak. I look under the car and notice right off that there is a metal tube that runs from the exhaust (rearwards from the cat, right behind it) and up to the intake that was severed completely. all I have to say is "?" eeeeeeerrr? input anyone?

I had the same thing on mine. The pipe that bolts up to the cat and goes to the back broke off right behind the flange. I ended up taking it to a local exhaust shop and they replaced the whole works cat-back for $260. you may not need that much but the pipe shouln't be hard to come by.

Default Buy a new exhaust.

Seriously, buy a new exhaust. They're quite reasonable from a local muffler shop that knows what they're doing. The topic has been discussed ad nauseum on here, so do a search for suggestions.

If it's the pipe I am thinking of it is not very expensive, less than $100.

Default If you have 4k or CGT this is your pipe.

If you have quattro I don't know what to tell you.
