I've been thinking of all the possible plans for my 4k once it gets out of the shop and I keep thinking about going EV or diesel. the 2.0TD from a 5000 seems doable pretty easily, although a 1.9TDI would be wiser I think. I could easily get a audi 90 tranny installed that should mate up to the engine, but how hard is it to fabricate motor mounts? I imagine it's the same as the 1.8T, and I know where are some 1.8T swaps done in here. Anyone able to make the mounts and sell them to me when I am ready? I have limited fabrication access.
