Default what was the big fuss about that car anyway?

Default The sheer terror of being on the track with Garza

...or even the possibility, has forced me to move to another brand and surround myself with as much tubular steel as possible.

Cost? Awww heck, Garza, how much do you have in that CGT by now? The Bimmer should be on the track for around $8000. The key is to start with a POS so you don't care (much) if it gets beat up.

Default It was just an interesting ride

84 4kq, shaved door handles, and a few other things IIRC. This was years ago, there wasnt too much traffic around here and he was doing some neat stuff. Rocket is still around and his car is in the Auditrippin clan over in PA.
I only saw the car once in person, that was the weekend of Waterfest 2003. We visited Rocket, Supercoupe was there too, trying to get the motor back into the rocketaudi. Turns out the issue was a bad end cap or bearing of sorts (it caused a knocking noise). There was stipulation that it may have been something far worse.

Then Justin (rocketaudi) shows up at Carlisle 2005 with a crotch rocket and gets tossed out for doing a wheelie .

Default Someday spanky!! B.T.W. Tom Green came into my work to rent stuff the other day.... :-P

He was probably doing some small vid prod of some sort, there's a bunch of actors that live around the corner from us, we're across the street from Universal studios: Coffey sound

Default The car definetely has a lot of personality. 85 dash, copious amonts of body filler and...

the crow bar needed to "pop" the rear door make it interesting.

Default ITB !! NICE !!

I love the car , and good luck up at New Hampshire ! Its a techenical track, but just take it easy and get thru the school. Cause I would like to see the car at Lime Rock !
If you get into a bind, I would suggest seeking out the Blethen Brothers. Raymond and Steven, they have been tearing up ITB in A pair Coupes for a LONG TIME. And if you come down to Lime Rock I would be glad to lend a hand.

Or hey I might even be a fellow competitor, I am planning on getting a MKII Golf to run ITB as well.

Have Fun ! (if it doesnt snow)

Default I guess this NJ car will stay boring...

No body filler (thank goodness), and all my door handles work. Ho Hum. I gotta move it though, its getting to be a few months. Maybe this weekend when it isn't raining/flooding/snowing/hailing/cold, it might get moved back into my hometown and into a garage now that there is one free. I might break 50 miles behind the wheel of that thing since it was purchased. Sad yet true.
