Default Found something interesting while shopping for parts

Needed some oddball OEM parts and found that both were NA from the local Audi Dealer but I found one at the local Porsche dealer (for almost 50% less than Audi wanted I might add) and found the other from a local VW dealership (again for less than Audi wanted). I ordered both and they should be arriving this week sometime

Default Also check w/ Kris @ VM Autohaus

He can usually get odd & NLA stuff, plus he's fairly close to you.
I could even bring you some things when I go into WA to gather my parts & such I have sent down there.

ask for Kris

Default VW and early Porsche part numbers are shared....

Remember that Porsche prior to like 1985 or so shared dealerships with Audi, they actually shared parts among the 924 (which was going to be a VW before they axed it in favor of the Ur-Quattro) and even used the VW style part numbers. Most of the VW common shared parts on Type 85s come from the Quantums or surprisingly the A1/A2 Jetta/Golfs.
