Hi everyone

I have a coupe quattro that I am converting to s2 spec. I cut the fuel lines and didn't realize they were bubble flare, because I did it so long ago. I put a double flare on the lines and well.. it doesn't work as I found out at %30 percent throttle in the garage :-/. I been looking online but I haven't seen anything really that seemingly would works as an adapter. The local import shops won't let me borrow there metric bubble flare tool(******). So it's either buy a kit, get a new braided fuel lines made to match to the fuel rail(however I don't know what type of connection is on the fuel rail), or find an adapter. Anyone?

Maybe a trip to the hydraulic shop might help me out.. who knows.. I had boost and now there is no boost and it's a big tease.

I figured this forum might have better luck in this department of helping me out.


Anyone located near bristol, RI????? with a metric bubble flare tool that I could use? I'll rent it out from you or buy beer etc.
