Fuel Problems
Okay I got a used fuel distributor from Chris at Force 5. My mechanic said it was bad no fuel going to the 3 cylinder. Chris being the stand up guy he is sent me another, free of charge. I put the new/used one on, and took it to the shop to get it setup. My mechanic called today saying he couldn't dial it in because this one is dead on the 2 and 4th cylinder. Anyone one know what else could cause this. My mechanic says the fuel pressure is in spec, I just got a couple of bad units. Chris has again offred to send me a third unit free of charge. I should have it by Friday. I am starting to second guess my mechanic, as I find it hard to believe 2 units could be bad. SO anyone with any ideas please throw them out. Also would the fuel system be out of wack cause my exhaust by the catalytic convertor to get cherry red?
Thanks All

They could be clogged, I beleive they have some very small holes..exhaust glowing...
sounds like the cat is clogged or your engine is running rich/missing, making the cat work overtime!!!

Glowing exhaust to me would indicate a lean running condition, most likely caused by a huge vacuum leak. Also, as ddg said, cat may be clogged.
