fun q for the day: do you get noticed by other, newer, audi drivers?

And, on a side note, our local Audi dealer and VW dealer both have a generic 15 year rule....
That means, if it's around 15 years old or older, they won't work on it. There are a couple of exceptions, and I guess one local guy had an UrQ, though in a city of 1 million, I haven't seen him yet.
That's OK, though, as that leaves plenty of work for me!! Although, we seem to get the 3-8 year old cars in more than the older stuff as well. I much prefer working on the older stuff, though.

Not many 'other' Audi drivers up here, however the European tourists always comment on the 4K
Swiss,and German folks are more familiar with the diesel Audis and some also have something similar, albeit newer, at home.

Only time I get acknowledged is if I chase them down on the highway...
And even then it's hard to get a wave or anything. Normally just get weird looks like "what does this guy want". Then again being in the SF bay area there are a lot of non-enthusiest driven Audi's, and almost no Audi's older then 97 on the streets...
