Default FWD 4000 lowering?

Hey everyone, I’m new to this forum and I’ve been looking everywhere to try and find an answer. I’ve been trying to lower my 1986 fwd 4000 since I first got it 2 years ago. I’ve found a few different front coilovers, but there is nothing for the rear that I could find. I don’t want to hear anything about cutting the springs because that’s what everyone tells me to do, I’m sick of it😂. Has anyone with a fwd 4K lowered it, or does anyone know of any rear coilovers for them? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hello Colin,

I have a set of HR springs that will get it lower but I don't know how much. I am willed to part with these. Let me know and send me an e-mail.
These are the once in the middle of the picture, not the red once on the left, they are for a quattro.

Ciao

Werner

The previous owner of my Coupe installed a set of H&R springs. I wonder if they're the same ones you have, Werner.

I could measure ride height to the arches for giggles if you'd like.
