Sometimes its a little hard to shift into 1st or second. I sometimes have to cycle through 2nd in order to get to 1st (while holding in the clutch). Any suggestions to fix this?

This happens in my car...I've heard it is comon with manual trany's, my friends 2001 Prelude does it.
Havent driven my car (still sittin in the garage) but I had it happen on cold starts.
You usually have to put it into second first
to enable it to go into 1st.

I usually just let the clutch out about an inch, then it slides right in gear.

Doesn't happen too often. Usually going into first. Sometimes reverse is hard. Im not crying about it... The car has nearly 200k on it.. It has every right to be a little fussy sometimes

Worn gearbox synkros?

Have you ever changed the oil in your gearbox?

i had the same problem before i put my short shift kit in. still have it, gonna try shifter bushins
