Default Has anyone purchased an antenna from eBay?

I purchased the antenna in the link below, and after some "adjustments", managed to make it fit in the quarter panel. But the included "adapter" is useless. Has anyone used one of these and found an adapter that will work? The auction states that the appropriate adapter is incuded, but this was not the case, and I get no response from the buyer to my inquiries about it.

eBay Antenna

Default Is it a 2 wire hookup?

I bought a generic one from Advanced Auto, actually two of them, one for each car. I just snipped the factory wire before the connector and cut n' spliced the wires, works great!

Default I bought one from ebay....

not sure if it was the same seller but the antenna connector on this particular power antenna had a way to unscrew the standard connection and revealed a connection that fit the Audi. Maybe send a pic to the seller to verify. I have had to cut and splice the wires before and its no fun so do your best not to go that route.

I believe Radio Shack, or like stores, have an adapter available. I have seen them before.
