Headlight switch war, I win!
My headlight switch has been flakey as of late in my 4kq. What will happen is, the dash lights will go out, as will the corner markers and tail lights, but headlights will be fine. Wiggling of the switch, or just smaking it or even a gentle "push" will make things right again.
Last night I had to "hold" the switch in place my entire drive home, irritating.
So, I checked things out. I had a problem with the main power wire (red) going to the connector from wherever it comes from. I can wiggle the wire around and the lights will flicker off and on. I figured Id cut off some spare headlight wire, and jam it on the side, forcing the wire to make the only good contact that it made. Free fix, and it works fine now, we'll see if it gives me any crap down the road.
T minus 7 days until that JT motor gets its fluids drained and it gets yanked!
I cant wait to see everybody at Carlisle. DO NOT FORGET to bring your slips you got from Carlisle!!! Ask Max about what happened last year
