Here's the big question. 5 lug hub conversion.
Just thought of it..would be pretty badass but havent seen it done to many audis.
I have all four strut housings laying around. If I wanted to change hubs on them, which hubs do I need to get (which model, 5kt??) Last off where the hell would I find them?

Hey Ricey... did the previous owner mill the head on your car???
If he did, then your cam timing is advanced!
Milling the head shortens the distance between the crank and cam pulley, the timing belt will make up the difference by taking up the slack but the cam pulley rotates slightly realative to the crank, thus your cam timing is advanced, it's giving you alot of low end, but I bet you your car gets REAL flat above 4000 rpm!
Get a Techtonis adj. cam pulley and RETARD the cam timing (you will have to change the ignition timing to compensate) by like 4deg, I bet your engine will wake up!

Nope it wasnt. The NF head I have is though :-)
It was planned to be installed in the summer, but never got around with money to do it. I still need to buy a turbo camshaft and lifters. Cam pulley sounds like a good idea though.

Your sig says "JT high compression engine"
How is the compression increased???
Also, DON'T buy a turbo cam, it has the same timing as your NF cam!!!
Right click and select:"save target as" on the link below..
or just open it from this web page!
It has all the realavant info you'll need!!!<ul><li><a href="http://home.earthlink.net/~danaimee/Engine%20codes/engine%20Code.doc">engine spec word Doc</a></li></ul>

The NF's cam IS a turbo cam...Check the part numbers sometime ;-)
I don't know why people think it is an upgrade for the NF and NG, because it definately isn't. Also, the KH and all the other older 10v cars have the same cam too, but its different than the MC/NF/NG. So using a cam from those newer motors in an older 2144 or 2226 may make a difference.
