Last week Audi made upholstery fabric available for the older Audis. This is new because I got an email from Audi letting me know when the fabric would be released. I have a link that you can use to order your fabric from them:
http://trshop.audi.de/konakart/Selec...y=Bezugsstoffe
It is mostly in German and you must order by email, not online. I would like to order fabric for my 82 Audi Coupe (Surinam red with herringbone grey cloth interior) but from the site it looks a little confusing. I am thinking that one orders the cloth itself in whatever quantity and has an upholsterer do the rest.

It's pretty easy if you have google toolbar. Just hit the "translate" button.

The exterior is Surinam red. There is a tweed fabric on the seat bottom and back and a unified colour on the bolsters, side pieces and back. I am guessing Karo-tweed Negro on the seat cushion and back and Kari-tweed Uni for the other pieces, but I could be wrong.
Assuming I find out what fabric I need, how much of each type do I need? Each piece is 160 X 60cm. Simply put, how much fabric would I need to cover the both front seats, I am leaving the rear as is?
