Default Holy Gas Batman!

I just filled up... $68 later. and that's just regular.

Shouldn't I be getting more than 450 km's out of a tank? I've done both filters, injector seals, plugs, rotor, cap, wires, air filter.

Would a bad O2 sensor cause such bad MPG?

...or maybe not flooring it every chance I get...

My V8 has been guzzling around ~50$ worth a fuel a week for around 400 miles. Not bad, actually - right around 20mpg, which is what I was getting in the 4KQ.

Default $68 for a tank of Gas? You can get and feed a horse for cheaper than that!

Even with the difference between USD abd Canadian $$$, that sux.

I'm thinking that you should be able to get at least + or- 450 miles to a tank, not 450 km to a tank.

when's tha last time you tuned it up? What kind of engine is in that thing?

Yeah, I agree, but he said only 450 km, not miles...

So conversion - around 270? That's about right for my 4kQ, if I remember correctly. I think max I was getting just over 300 out of a tank.

Default Going to be around $90.00...

Ha! You have it easy...!

Seems that the urq likes it's gas expensive (Sonoco 94, else it pings).

That stuff is around $1.05/liter here. And the urq has a 90l tank..! Doing the math, that's going to hurt.

Normally, I don't fill the tank. But when I head down to the UPG meet, It'll be getting a fillup. Good thing is, I'll pretty well make it there on one tank. (~800 Km)

Ouch, for sure!

Default That's OK...

It's about time people paid for their environmental damage. Big SUV/Truck drivers are going to fare much worse. My commuter bike has been getting a workout(as have I) since prices have gotten high. Going to be a fun winter of cycle commuting to work as well.
I still see 90% of people with one person/vehicle on the way to work regardless of vehicle size so it must not be hitting hard enough yet.

Last time I filled up it was 43.00 for 93 oct and I put 358 miles on it as of today. However I will be reloading tonight after I get home from work should be around 400 miles total. I think it's about a 16 gal tank, but I'm not positive ( I'm sure I will be corrected by someone ). The engine particulars: 2.3 NG block, 2.2 KX head (because I had a carb maniffold for it ), 2bbl Weber carb. (I'm working on the NG carb manifold.)
