Default how big can we go with brakes?

what kind of brake upgrade options are there for a 4000 quattro? the stopping is pretty good as is but isnt there plenty of room for bigger things in there with 16" rims? im just curious whats available even if it takes lots of work.

Default Wilwood has an 11" kit that has a pretty good reputation around here.

I think it's at rpiequipped.com. Talk to MikTip about it, he has the kit on his 90.

Calipers usually come with an upgrade kit.

Default About the RPI stuff...

Farther down on the page, they have Brembo cross drilled rotors for the 4kq. Now, it says in the paragraphs to the left that RPI uses PBR Metalmaster pads or something. Does this mean the pads come with the rotors? I was confused if I just ordered the rotors I wouldnt get any pads.
Any help?

Mike

Default No, they don't. They sell PBR pads and use them in their cars,

but they don't come with a set of rotors unless it specifies a pad/rotor kit.

Default Happens to the best of us.

I did the rear drum brakes in my Fox last week, and the car was back on the ground before I realised I hadn't put the retaining nut back on the outer wheel bearing of one side.
