How do you keep mice out of a car while stored? Preferably something that you know from experience.

I am moving to Houston in a couple of days, and there are a few of the Audi's that I want to keep mice out of. I've heard drier sheets work, and Moth ***** do a pretty good job. However, I"m not really keen on the idea of my cars smelling like mothballs after this, so I'm trying to stay away from them if possible.
I have about ten Audi's stored here that I care about, and don't want all the wiring, etc to be destroyed.

and he had put 15 or so christmas tree "vanillaroma" air fresheners inside. Never had a problem with mice getting in the car, though i did have to worry about anything edible i had out there.

smell will dissapate eventually, or so my dad insists.
Put them in a cloth bag, and then put them on a pan or plate of some sort. One or two trays in the car, one in the trunk, and one or two under or in the engine bay and you should be fine.
