How to remove parcel shelf?

need to remove top rear seat, and undo the seatbelts at the top and bottom. The seatbelts then have to go into the holes in the shelf, remove the small plastic trimming in the holes first.
Then there is some small metal piesces that hold the shelf in position right behind the top rearseat, just have to bend them up a little, and the shelf should slide right out (pull towards yourself)
I did take out my rear "door" boards also for easy acces to the seat belt mounting bolts, but i think it is possible to remove the shelf, even with the "door" boards still in place.
